It's Coming

Thought for the Day

The hawks are fidgety, 

the green heads and Canadian geese

look skyward.

The whitetail doe

and her yearling scamper 

out of the pasture into the woods

even before 

I come the the clearing.

Ragweed's yellow flowers burst

across the fields to roust you 

to reaction and prod your 

inner lust to travel.

It's coming.
